What's the consensus on the efx Stormtrooper helmet Sideshow is selling? I have the efx Vader limited helmet. I was wondering if this $200 Stormtrooper helmet would look good alongside it.

The EFX PCR Stormtrooper (identical to MR CE) is a nice helmet, but quite inaccurate and symmetrical. And not as good quality wise compared to the EFX Vader PCR helmet.

In their dreams, and even if by absurd, they would have, the helmet is so much that idealized it lost almost all the original tells. Look at pictures of screen used helmets (www.starwarshelmets.com has nice pics) and compare it to the heavily cleaned up symmetrical MR CE/EFX PCR Stormie helmet. It is a nice helmet, I still own the MR CE, but far from accurate.

Be warned, the efx trooper has a huge issue with seams, I do NOT recommend.

if they did it would have been a waste of time, the purpose of the helmet was to be heavily idealized

I got the regular Vader and love it. I prefer idealized.

Ah so the SE is meant to be more screen accurate. I thought they were the same except for materials used.

Seems weird to even go for the screen version if your going to use ABS and not fiberglass anyways.

The only thing different between the two EFX ABS Vader helmets is that the SE has the brush effect and that C-scar, while regular is simply spray painted. Sculpt is identical.
