Posted by Sideshow on Facebook. Also not sure but are they attempting a rooted sculpt?

Looks great but I have trouble getting excited with any Sideshow announcements when their figures get downgraded to softness once production hits.

Let alone them attempting to do rooted hair for the first time on top of their usual production downgrades is extra risky.

Need to wait on production releasing before putting down any money down on it. Same for their Lost Boys and upcoming Pennywise.

Yeah I’m not sure about Sideshow and rooted hair. Also does this mean they think they can attach a premium price point to this figure?

One thing too- some of the stitching looks kind of bad to me. Really stands out as being obvious.

That's a great looking prototype but I'd wait on production releasing before putting down any money down on it.
On the other hand, they're pretty good about taking returns and issuing full refunds when their final products disappoint I think?

Them NOT doing rooted hair and releasing one downgraded figure after another hasn't stopped them from overpricing their figures. They charge Hot Toys prices ($300+) when their figures are Threezero quality.

If anything, this just gives them an excuse to increase their pricing even further. :ohbfrank:

Yeah, but I just hope they don’t think they can get into Hot Toys Artisan or InArt territory and try to justify this as a $400-$500 figure. In that case I’ll be out most likely.

Wow, great looking figure. I'd love to see Sideshow back in the game... but too gun-shy based on many years of disappointments.

Very hopeful though. I would get this if it looks like that.

Of course, this will be $399...

I can see them charging $350 for this but then you also need to factor in tax/shipping, pushing this close to $400. Sideshow figures are just not worth full price. I wish they would improve but they've been stagnant for years now. Which is always a shame because their prototypes look great. They just don't have the ability to match them in production.
