And again, do a graveyard/gravestone base. I think this would be the BEST option for Faith. I cannot stress that enough. I think my idea is a good iead.

I just pictured that scene in season 7 when Faith and Buffy are in the graveyard and Faith grabs the stake from Buffy's pant leg pocket to stake a vamp. Very excellent scene.

No one can "make" you feel bad about yourself. Sure, they can make a comment, but it's up to you whether you take it in and believe it or just ignore/move past it. It's all up to you.

Doesn't make me feel bad. I have a great life, am happy and healthy. But it is still a way to put people down. There are a lot of people that live by the way others view them. Some can't help that.

Anyways, back to the topic at hand. Don't need risingstar to start the derail of the thread, and any of us to continue it like we have.

So what are you saying? You're overweight? Do you generally go around pouncing on anyone who might make you feel insecure about your self-image? Jeez. Grow up. Personally I think Dushku looked a helluva lot better in Buffy than she did in Dollhouse. I like a woman, not a toothpick.
This piece is too far off to expect people to hand over cash for it. Whedon fans are in the same boat we're always in: We either accept the half hearted attempts they give us or they cancel the line because they say it didn't sell, or we buy the crap and they give us more crap.
I'm afraid Whedon properties are only getting passing attention while the big lines get the big guns which is BS cause we all have the same hard earned cash. It looks nothing like the actress and you can drive a truck between her legs.
Its a lot of money SSC, give us quality for it.

Sideshow doesn't strike me as the type to generally "tweak quite a bit", even if the fans kick and scream. Whatever happened behind the scenes, I think we'll be benefitting from it. I imagine we'll be seeing something quite good... I'm looking forward to it.

Don't think that'll be the case and I believe Dave is right...they aren't going to produce something they know we all dislike. So, I am more than certain we will see something better.

Very good news. I love the pose and the artwork that it's pulled from but unfortunately that's about it. The eyes, face shape and hair just don't look right.

Of course, this is based on one magazine photo, so I am hardly worried.

I wonder why SS released a prelim pic of the Faith statue to that magazine.

The magazine deadline probably came before the licence issue. Eliza is definitely not overweight, I met her in Birmingham at a signing event and she was sweet, petite and beautiful.

They are always even smaller in person as the camera puts on 10 lbs. Now, I never thought Amber Benson (Tara) was overweight, but in person, that woman is a bean pole. I was like whoa, you are tiny woman! I didn't say that, but I thought that.

And, jealous, you met her, that's awesome. I'll at least get to meet James and Clare in November. But my holy grail is still out there...Joss!

Yeah, I'd say that it was a premature release, but I do think that ssc definitely took what we have said here to heart. I say, let's just wait to see what happens and we'll see how much of what we said changed the maquette. I can't wait by the way.

We on this forum like to talk all kinds of mad crap because they don't live up to our expectations sometimes, but now that I'm on the other side, I have to say they are the coolest bunch of guys AND GIRLS you could ever hope to know. They are us, but nice to everybody. I love the Sideshow team and staff. They have some truly epic stuff on the horizon, some of which I'm proud to say will have my paint on it.
