SSC has had some really bad poses lately. I think this is pretty decent, but that repaint is so much better. IDK why but the darker colors make it more appealing to me and distracts me from that weird pose.
Just got this.. I don't mind the pose at all from most angles when posed with the non ex hand and displayed on my higher shelf.
Of course I never hated the pose to begin with but I get the Zoolander comparisons
Its why I like the non Ex hand better. Does not look as Zoolanderish.
What does bug me is the difference in color used for his shield and his outfit. Reds and whites are much brighter and more vibrant on the shield.

Ok.. I have had this for about a week and I gotta say that I really like it. Best Captain America Statue I have owned. Now I have owned 3 others and they were all good but I love the texturing and sheild placement on this one. And you know what?? I dig the pose also.
The pose works much better with the closed fist. The Ultron head gives him more of that Zoolander look. I get why some don't like it but I gotta say there is not much I would change. At least where I display him it looks great.

Only blocking from some views.. Anyways this piece was a nice surprise. I really like it a lot.

The paint and details look great
Having him for a week now.. I really love this piece. Easily my fav Cap and the Best out there IMO. Not a fan of the OG Cap at all..
I might like IS AOU version better but the shield is not on display.. Did not care for the pose on the IS CW but it was nice. Sideshows TFA and WS versions were nice but one lacked presence and the other lacked color.
I never seen any of the XM versions in person.
I just really like everything about this. Like I have been saying.. I even like the pose when displayed a bit higher and I don't mind it when lower either. I think the non ex fixes some of the issues that people complain about. Love the suit and the detail and paint apps are some of SSC best.
