Why isnt Mark Newman sculpting these Mando series PFs, I am gonna go complain on his FB page.

I really would love to see his take on any Star Wars character, no lie. But the reason I mentioned him here is that he seems to especially excel with female sculpts. We would have no problems with questionably sculpted hair with Mark on board.

I have his Machiko Noguchi PF - that was my first PF ever - and to this day, sometimes I just stop and soak in her beauty. She is magnificent. At the time I knew little about the character, but she was so beautiful I was like, She has to come here.

The fact that she combined two of my fav franchises didnt hurt, for sure.

Don't remember exactly, but I do think that Sideshow writes the full name of the character on the shipper, like - 'Boba Fett Premium Format', etc.
I'm looking at Cara, and it says 'CRA DNE PREMIUM FORMAT'. Was thinking that maybe they didn't have the stones to write the full name....

All made in China, statues, boxes, even shippers, not every worker gets every word in English. It is similar to Asohka (yeah, not Ahsoka).

Well, the SW sale got me, also threw in some RPs. I'd wanted this, talked myself out of her, talked myself into her.

Suspicious that it will be mostly seasons 1 & part of 2 of the Mandalorian that I like the best - far as I am concerned Cara will always be integral to the Mandalorian, and I like this statue. IMO she'll go nicely with the IS Mando.

(Also TBH it doesn't hurt to flip off Disney, who should have kept her. )

I think I will be! Based on the vid with the brightest light I could find ( the likeness is very good, lots of texture and washes, pose with a bit of movement without being over-the-top. IMO Cara was a breath of fresh air in Star Wars - a believable gorgeous no holds barred kick @ss woman, with a great non-romance dynamic with Din D'jarin.

Arrived today and she is stunning, I think Sideshow has really improved a lot with the human portraits, and I'm loving all these Star Wars premium format figures coming out. She pairs nicely with Moff Gideon or Mando.

Saw it today in the shop - looks a lot better in real life.

That last pic by Big Mo is the closest representation to what it's like - she doesn't look too "chunky" and the face is pretty good.

They just had to downsize the package, maybe because she is was "kicked out" by Disney? Seems to me like some revenge against Gina. Well, she is quite flat (not Gina, just the statue), Ahsoka has some curves to her. Anyway, glad she is safely at home already.

Just got her in today...IMO this statue may look deceptively simple, there's lot of perfectly painted texturing and washes, and the paint is -
perfect. Very, very clean. At this price point could not ask for better; really nice portrait. People say that a lot about pictures but this is one that definitely needs to be looked at in person. Love it! Think it's my first Sideshow statue and IMO they did great!

Quick pic out of the box.....don't care how long Mandalorian lasts, am always gonna want this character back, a true female beautiful badass. Gorgeous. I'll play with her rifle later tho she could be displayed without.

Thank you! For sure I'm impressed - there's some very fine wrinkling around her torso e.g looks like cloth. Boots look like leather - stellar paint job at this price point. She even has a slight expression that's all Cara Dune.

Now I'm scared of what else Sideshow might put out$$$$ but for now she's perfect with Iron Studios' Mandalorian.

I've always wanted this, but have been put off because I'm not sure I want a constant reminder of how she was treated (and is STILL being treated).

Would have been nice to get the base signed when she attends the Vancouver EXPO mid-Feb - but it is what it is.
