My son loves the Vinyl Morts but realistically they aren't safe for him to mess around with so we don't let him too much. This Mort is already earmarked for him.

Last year I found it very easy to go to bed during spook because it didn't have the same feel. This year, I am hoping for better! Which means...no sleep for me!

Yeah, last Spook was lame, a lot of newbies running around, a lot of "in it for number one" kind of mentalities and it kind of lead to a downer kind of atmosphere. Hell even Chat was blah because most of the people in there only chimed in to win something or were just complaining about getting something free. It was definitely a stark contrast to years past.

Agreed, last year was a disappointment on all fronts. Hopefully this year will be a return to form. I guess we'll see. The spook kit is at least better.

not especially. Maybe a rotten, mushy jack-o-lantern picture? anything rusty or decaying would be sweet, but I'll be happy with whatever. thanks!

It all depends on how the social networks play into it. That is what killed it for me last year.

And I will be happier if there are more scavenger hunts. Did anyone else miss that? Two years ago they gave away Res Evil stuff, star wars stuff, alien vcd's, etc. Yes, I walked away with a lot, but it wasn't about getting them, it was the thrill of trying to figure it all out and trying to check out as fast as you could once you entered the word and got the link to the item. Now THAT was what I missed, terribly.

Agreed..I missed the scavenger hunts most of all. The only time you would have to look for something last year was once or twice they asked a question in chat about the artist who did this or the weight of that...not fun at all. We will all know after the first day how it will go...and judging by how Comic Con was this year..Spook is gonna stink worse than a January Jack O Lantern
