While the people on the "Helpers" group are awesome it isn't exactly a helpers group. Posting "There is a contest right now!" or "there is a freebee right now!" or even "there is a clue somewhere on the site!" isn't exactly help...It should just be a Spooktacular group since most of us simply shoot the ____ there anyway and use it to have fun during this fantastic time of year.

I miss the old days when people would frantically PM one another to make sure that FREAKS were the ones getting the majority of the freebees.

I'm focusing on getting an Electric Tiki TICK statue if its offered again, I missed one every single year.

Well, I used to agree with that - and I still think the decoder messages were a lot of fun, but since I got a smartphone last year, I like the "thingies" (QR codes, that is ).

Absolutely! I'm lazy!

More of I remember finding something and getting it then sending the answer to Freaks so they could too, more than a few SSF members have done it for me and vice versa. It was fun not necessarily as serious as some of the members have taken it in the past couple of years especially considering that 9/10 times it's merchandise that has been "rotting" the shelves. It was more about helping each other out, racing the rest of the board members and laughing when you got one or narrowly missed one instead of the actual thing itself.
