My comic store is getting the regular in, but I can not decide if I want to chance the WL for the ex. Is the chicken really worth it?

The chicken with the dynamite in it's @$$ is so characteristic of DP. It's an awesome EX!

Wooho. He just arrived, but my shipper box is wrecked Guess I should have asked for the packout. The box itself is gouged, but no time to open and inspect. I love the box art and the writing on the box is hilarious. Hope to love my first premuim format figure!

Just unboxed him and he looks fantastic. Everything about the piece is top notch. It's when I get statues like this that my jaw just drops and I believe in SSC all over again. The QC on this is great.

I love the chicken, and it definitely screams Deadpool, showing both his crazy killer side as well as his fun side. That said, it's REALLY late to be getting onto the Wait List. It's not impossible, but from what we've seen so far, this is a piece that won't have people cancelling due to it being a poor product on any level. While financials could change that for some, those who were going to cancel due to them likely have already (or won't be in the numbers to make it so those JUST getting on the wait list will actually get one).

So since you're asking, I'd check how much your LCB store will be selling it for, and see whether or not it's marked up higher than just getting it from SS with shipping and all that, or if it's worth grabbing from there just to save on the hassle of shipping. If it's selling for a lot more, than hop on the SS wait list and see what happens. I'd say there's a REALLY low chance you'll get an EX at this point; however, you can always pick up a regular from SS if it doesn't convert.

In short, if your local store is selling it for a good price, just grab it there as it'll save you the worry of shipping and it'll likely sell out fast from them. If it costs more, jump on the wait list and pick up the regular from Sideshow if you don't convert. But as Buffy said, if you have to ask, you likely don't really care about the chicken (which is fine!) so you should be just as happy with the regular!

I won't be seeing mine until Dec because I'm having to get mine delivered to my parents miles away but when I go visit them for Christmas I'm going to have this the Green lantern PF, Joker PF & hopefully my Batman PF all there waiting for me
