Getting a good custom of this Deadpool at the beginning was all about who you knew. I have one of these and have none of the problems that some of you have with your custom Deadpool.

the paint application on mine is very nice as well, so I guess it is "hit or miss".

Plus if you got yours from Andre. Those are not from the original cast of 50, if you get were I'm coming from. That guys is a crock, thief and low down rotten scoundrel...True Story!

I wanted a 1/4 Deadpool real bad as much as I wanted Apocalypse and Juggernaut in 1/4 scale; but I'll just be straight up and say that I'm not really feeling this too much and will probably pass on it. It just looks boring as hell with no flavor at all. Now the Bowen Deadpool on the other hand...THAT has some flavor.

I pretty much feel the same way...chances are i may still purchase it, since i truly love the character but this is pretty dissapointing on many levels. One of the most charasmatic characters in the universe and absolutly none of the personality is translated in the statue.

I agree it does look a bit stock standard, a pose that can be used on anyone rather than a uniquley DP pose.

That being said i still like the pose as he'll look ACE next to my Punisher Com

unfortunately what you pointed out, is yet another example of Sideshow over-stylizing their Marvel statues.

deadpool is always carrying around ridiculously huge guns

The problem here is that they didn't pick which version of Deadpool they wanted to go with. The crazy goofy over the top one or the serious assassin. The Bowen one picks a version and pulls it off better.

Mmmhmmm way to early to be worried about if they missed the mark on this statue or not. They may have changed a lot since the teaser too. I hope we see him at SDCC

All that I can hope for now is better weapons, because I'm not all that fond of the pose they choose for my boy Wade Wilson...
