Even with the flash the detail is still not washed out. Every piece of this statue shows detail, truly great sculpt.

Y'know . . . I'm also a Diablo die-hard, and I originally ordered the EX. Then when the painted pics came out, it didn't do anything for me. Even as I look at the pics, I can't relate to the moment. I mean, my fave character is a Barbarian, and this pose doesn't do anything for me. Even the paint . . . it looks like a statue not based on any real life character. I would think that if they came out with an FB version of this, it would have more appeal to me.

what???you dont like this??man,this piece is just great..it has wonderful paint apps and the pose it's unbelievable..i think it represents barbarian as it must be!!all that blades on the back,the tatoos,the base!!come on!!look at his eyes!he has no fear man,he can kill everything..even the devil himself!i like it,from yesterday i am also in the waitlist.

I got back on the waitlist because I thought the pictures in this thread were awesome. Don't know if the helmet's a must though. I kinda think it may look better without it.

Because I feel that the excellent in hand reference photos offered in this thread do this magnificent piece justice, I will offer my attempts at capturing the Barbarian in more cinematic trappings.

I will join in the chorus, however, saying that, yes this piece is big, yes it is heavy enough to get my Detolf screaming back its Swedish maker and yes, I too believe this has the potential to become grail.

Next to my Daddy Rog and the SS Thor vs. Loki dios, this is one of the finest pieces of craftmanship I've had the pleasure of gazing upon. Simply amazing. If you have the chance, pick this piece up, even if you are not a fan of the games which spawned it.

I'm sorry, but have you not heard of Barbarian's Main skill call... "Shout" or "BATTLE ORDER" ?!?!?
That's what he is doing.
To me, this is the best pose for a Barbarian Statue.

Got mine and inspected it. My normal head has a paint chip but other than that its great! First thing Monday morning gotta call the great SS CS!

I finally was able to open this one and I am just really amazed how great diablo overthrown turned out to be. SS really did a good job and this might even surpass the PF Dr. Doom in popularity. So without further ado I present to you guys diablo III overthrown.... Sorry for the crappy pics...lol

Sorry no back and regular head pics because I was too lazy to take him out of the case and also I prefer the exclusive head over the reg head.l

If you are having second thoughts on getting this I highly suggest putting your name on the waitlist asap. You won't regret adding this statue on your collection. This has grail written all over it.

Ya know Grail is a word that has been bandied around all through this thread. All those that have it or have it on order seem to be screaming "it's gonna be a Grail"

Incidentally, did people shout Grail when Doom was released? Was he hotly tipped to be grail status on release?
