I'm in Portland. It's so hot and muggy right now, I can't stand it. I miss the clouds and rain.

I came in here to read about Jason, and this was the only post on the page and I was like...what thread am I in? Then I remembered we spent the entire last bunch of pages talking about the weather. :lol This is how badly we need news on the PF.

Yeah, this can't come soon enough. :lol We watch Friday the 13th movies all year but they're most enjoyable during the summer months IMO. Once September hits we start to shift from Camp Crystal Lake to Haddonfield.:yess:

When do we start getting sdcc pictures? I thought there might be a video on YouTube by now. It did start this weekend, right?

YES! This is the dream.

Yes! :lol creepiest time to watch is hot summer night with windows open and crickets in the background!

The best horror remake I've ever seen was The Hills have Eyes, they took a fairly horrid cult classic and turned it into something that was vicious and scary. It's one of the few Remakes I think was done well.

I honestly have to agree with you on that one. I won't lie, and some of you already know, but I also put 2003 TCM with it. It's okay if you don't agree, it's just my personal opinion.

Yup. :duff

:exactly: I enjoyed TCM-2003 as well. I have no problems with re-boots, re-makes or whatever you want to call them if they're well done. I grew up with the original Friday The 13th movies and still really enjoy the 2009 version too. It just depends on what we're in the mood for. I will say though that you just can't recapture the look and nostalgic feel of the late 70's/early 80's that you get with the first few originals.

The Fly is also one of the better remakes. One of my favorites.

Even though it looks cool. That lean is not correct for Jason`s personality (if any), so straighten up his back and I a have nothing to pick on.
