I was wondering that too. I'm hoping that it's because the production version is so close to the prototype that there was no need to. The reality is that it's probably so far off of Sideshow's radar and such little buzz (except for some of us die-hards) that they didn't bother.

With the inflated ES of the Ex I wonder how many regulars will be made. With the fact that the Ex is still available, I can't imagine them making a couple thousand more regulars. Has there ever been a statue where the regular had a smaller ES than the Ex?

Here's some pics without much futzing and some quick observations. Overall think he turned out well. Very heavy statue. The splatter is pretty lacking compared to the proto. It looks like a red pen poked him several times on the leg. Minimal paint on the machete too. The paintwork on both sculpts is well done. The base has amazing detail.
