In addition to a custom left hand, I'd also like to see a custom removable mask for the Ex head.

Thanks for the review. I agree on all counts. A weaponless left hand would be great and also a custom mask for the EX head would be killer. Doesn't really take away from how awesome this statue is though.

Yeah great review JAWs, especially like the air quotes, when u said it is based on part 3, because you are right, it looks more like a blend of a few of the films. I also I agree it looks strange holding both the machete and harpoon. The EX should have come with 2 EX hands like the old PF did. So do you think it is worth upgrading the old PF for this one?

I use to think a removable mask would be ideal, but when you think about it, you would probably scratch the paint off the sculpt every-time u took it off and put it back on again. They would have to put type of protection around the mask that is in contact with the sculpt to avoid that from happening.

I just put my order in for this brilliant piece, think because of the pre-order of leatherface its made me pull the trigger now. I just can't wait anymore because I don't want to miss out on this Exclusive, as the regular would not be quiet the same. Its very rare an Exclusive really is worth getting, should have him February time

A removable mask would need a thin layer of foam or something. My FvJ Jason has some marks from the hockey mask.

This is definitely a piece you need to see in person to appreciate how awesome it is. Pictures no matter how good can't seem to capture it. I read the posts about the blood and saw people adding blood. Does it look like the blood from the prototype? No but when does the prototype ever look like the piece you get? I think the blood looks way better in person. Pictures don't seem to do it justice. In my opinion it's fine. I saw people talking about the shirt and his stance. I even saw one post that said he didn't look menacing. I like the build and stance of the statue. As far as menacing let me put it this way when my wife saw him she said "Omg is that staying in our house!?" ha ha. The base is a work of art. Both heads are amazing. The harpoon hand does seem a little awkward with the machete hand but I wasn't going to display him with it anyway. Easily my favorite Sideshow piece so far this year. Overall if you're a fan of Friday the 13th I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Thanks man! That was nice... I try to do them when I can.. At the same time if I do too many I will run out of things to review

I wish I could get home when the sun is out nice and high more often.. My Wolverine review is my best looking so far. Eventually I will get a new camera. People say they like my reviews but I get a fair share of complaints about the video quality.. Like I am getting paid to do this Still I would like to do some better looking videos for sure.

This piece is a customizer's dream come true. I would definitely take custom empty left hand, removable mask, and possibly hand holding an ax.

The empty left hand seems like such an obvious thing. I can't believe SS didn't give us an extra hand.

More screen accurate removable mask would be nice... But otherwise I agree with you.

Actually it almost seems from the shape of the box, that sideshow had something else planned. The space where the left hand goes is way too big.

I don't know about others here but I just like the idea of being able to take off the mask to reveal his face like you can on the previous 12 inch action figures, rather than just have two heads. However, like I said before unless there was padding in it where it comes in contact with the face, you would eventually scratch the paint off. So I can see why Sideshow chooses the two head EX option now.

Good point but it wouldn't have to be an actual removable mask, instead it could just be a mask part of the diorama base that just sits there, instead of attaching to the head.

Shame they didn't follow through the original plan then, what ever it was, holding both the Harpoon and machete just doesn't suit Jason IMO.
