They need to get these things out soon before the Aussie Dollar totally bombs out, every month they delay at the moment is gonna cost me an extra 10% if the dollar keeps falling this way.

So if this guy just plugs into the base, there shouldn't be a whole heck of a lot stopping someone from making their own custom base, no? I'm finding that to be my primary 'thorn' with this piece - the base is just a bit busy and calls a little more attention to itself than I'd like. I'm (ideally) buying the PF for Jason, not the intricately-sculpted base...
