Had to race home at lunch to meet the UPS driver (my apartments won't sign for packages), but he's here!

Yep, 1.2.

So, Luke on a 1.1 which is too tall and Han on a 1.2 which is probably just fine... except not taller than Luke.

Did a quick teardown and redress (Friday afternoons are kinda slow at my job).

Removed the blue jacket and discarded. I didn't want any additional fabric to bunch up at the wrists, because the fit is quite poor. The wrist area of his parka should have been tapered to accommodate the gauntlets. The parka is nice, but I wish it was a bit more snug in the waist area. And maybe slightly more snug sleeves. The fur lining of the parka is absolutely atrocious! But so far, that seems to be the only major problem for me. I have a few more gripes, but I'll hold back, for now.

The lack of eyelids is kinda weird, but both headsculpts are very nice, overall! A huge improvement over Snake Plissken, in my opinion.

I had lowered my expectations considerably for this figure, but I really like him!

Overall, a VERY welcome addition to my collection!

Nice! I like the color of the blue. Looks nice and dark. Was a bit worried after some earlier review photos. I plan on removing the underneath jacket too.

Looks pretty good there, rubio. I agree the sleeves do look a bit too roomy. Perhaps they did that to fit the Bespin jacket underneath. Speaking of which, how is the Bespin jacket? Better than the original? Except for the zipper, of course...

What a great pic... I'm feeling some excitement returning regarding this figure!

Gotta say, these headsculpts are very strong. I'm really impressed with Sideshow on this one.

Trevor Grove definitely has Harrison Ford down.

And it certainly appears that Sideshow has kept the production paintwork VERY close to the prototype. Bravo, Sideshow!

Looking good, Rubio!

The trick to the sleeves might be not to try and stuff them tight into the gauntlet, but let them bag out a bit as seen here:

The lack of eyelids is kinda weird

But they match the apparent lack of eyelids on Ford's actual face very well. :) Grove got that detail right, despite a lot of folks wanting lids.

The coat's bulk looks pretty good compared to what we see on screen and photos - maybe tightening up the belt will give that narrower appearance near the waist. As it stands, the belt looks like it would fall off if it and the gun were 1:1.

Neck looks far too long in the photo you mentioned, might need to futz or mod because the jacket is missing underneath to give the shoulder more bulk.

I think all the sculpts are awesome, but I still wish they had gone for more expression on the faces of the hatted heads. Leave the stoic hero gaze for the un-hatted. Just look at the cool squint Ford has going on in the photo Kuat posted above.

I remember that discussion, but the lack of any kind of eyelash markings only draws attention to the eyelid thing. It looks much better in hand than the photos show, but it is still a bit...different.

The belt attaches via a small velcro strip behind the buckle. I will most definitely figure a way to tighten it, but I'm at work and don't have access to my supplies (plus I can't play with this thing TOO much here :)).

The photo was taken looking up at Han. The forced perspective makes the neck appear longer than it is.

Agreed. However, I'll not get too worked up. It's a major upgrade over the Hot Toys Indiana Jones headsculpt, so I'll just breathe a little sigh of relief on that one.

Trevor Grove has acknowledged his weakness in expressions (I think it was when discussing his McFly, which actually has some expression.) His sculpts can be dead-on, but they are often expressionless.

I do think he should have sculpted Luke with the mouth slightly open with some teeth showing - it's the way Luke's face is most of the time and it's part of that wide-eyed boyish look he has in SW and ESB.

Did you hear the angels singing in the background as you opened the box and revealed the face? ;) So far not even a mention in email about my order - I've seen so many different-looking photos at this point that I really need to see the paint work myself. I'm not anxious or anything, but it'd be nice to get a shipping confirmation. I have a few other things at my mailbox waiting on this to show up before I go for a pickup.
