Thnak you for clearing things up. My preference goes to SSc's pants but i'd settle for Hasbro's if i find those first. Thinking about it, Medicom Endor Han pants could work too i guess. Boots should be easier to find and i can always wait a few months for HT Han to be parted out.

Did a little more work on the hood fur. Removed the old fur. Then cut a strip of rabbit fur and folded it over (copying how the original fur was inserted) which makes the fur thicker. Still haven't sewn it in but pretty pleased with the results.

Compared to the prototype fur (which I'm now starting to think is a little too wide and crazy):

And compared to the stock fur:

Decided my Han looked a little dry so I weathered him up.

Wow! The ingenuity of freaks is never ending. That looks amazing!

Looks great, TonTon!

The only thing I'd say is that the full looks a little too full on the top arch part and maybe not full enough on the sides. It has a more overall tall oval shape instead of a more circular shape. So, probably just some futzing will do.

Great job! That fur is SO much better than what it came with!

Yeah, I agree. It's a lot tighter on the sides where the two parts of the hood begin, so that might be part of it, but I plan to do some more futzing to get it right before I attempt to sew it in place. I may have to cut a slightly longer piece, although initially I thought this one was a tad too long so I'll see. The center, being that it's uncut, also has the advantage of being the fullest section.

My spare Hoth Han landed today. Started putting together my "Echo Hangar" Variant and "Bespin" upgrade. They are now sharing the same body but i'm actively searching the web for parts to make those two distinct projects.

Recently found a second body and a few hands but i am still on the market for the rarest parts (Bespin Han pants, boots and holster with blaster).

Received this guy yesterday. Overall, I like him. Out of the box however, it felt a bit toy-like, not quite what we've come to expect these days. It's mainly due to the coat, specifically all of the layers under it. That and the fact it came with the short, more antiquated base body. I actually contacted Sideshow about the inconsistency of collectors receiving different bodies and requested the most current one. That was met with a, we can't help you there, but just swap it out with a taller body you already have, type response... ??? First off, I'm not one of those guys that have spare bodies laying around, and second... really? Disappointed, but undeterred, I decided to remove the Bespin coat and shirt and transport the whole shabang onto a Crimson Guard trooper body. Now I have a tall Han and a stumpy trooper! I don't know what distresses me more, their response, or me adopting their suggested "fix".

That said, hiking his pants up, ditching his layers and swapping the body makes a world of difference, IMO. Other than weathering him up a bit, the only other work I see myself doing is re-sewing the sleeves in hopes to thin them up a taste. I do feel like its getting there though..

Cheers,
Ahab

Looks great so far, TK! If HT ever decide to make a Bespin Han, I'll do the same thing to my current upgraded Bespin Han.

Thanks. Spare parts are hard to come by but i should, at least, finish one of them when Toy Anxiety send my latest order.

Doesn't work on Luke anymore. At least not on the exclusive version. Can't ind the regular Version on the website anymore.

Anyone have a link for the non-exclusive?

Half tempted by the 20% off deal but I dunno if I want it enough anymore. The Hoth figures don't look bad but seem a bit underwhelming.

You just have to remove the 1 at the end of the URL of the exclusives.

The exclusive is worth the extra $20 though. A nice alternate display option. I'm only considering a second Luke Hoth for the parts potential.
