I don't think it ever got that dirty even with the snow in the film..someone has a wild imagination.
Where would the dirt come from..Hoth was all snow.
I know there was debris all over when the AT -AT blew up the command center but Han was already in his Bespin outfit by then.

There you go this image of the animation model used in the film clearly shows snow, no dirt.
With that said.. I am beyond pissed with SS on this separate selection method!
Look at all the accessories you get with Darth Malgus and the ESB Vader and they know that HT hasn't attempted a Hoth Han or Han from any of the films for that matter, and here would be an ample opportunity to stick it to HT and they pull this!

Seriously though. When I was a kid watching ROTLA, I thought at least in the Marion Nepal scene, with the coat zipped up I really thought it was a very dark grey or black jacket Indy wore..again I was a kid
Better than throwing away the actual movie and screen used miniatures.
Like I said, the matter won't be resolved by "debate." Each side has enough evidence to sit smugly with whichever opinion they refuse to budge on.One thing that IS not up for debate is the color of his coat as he appeared on the tauntaun. We know for a fact that it was blue. So "blue" will always be correct on that alone. The actual jacket that Harrison wore? Not convinced it was brown back in the day. They cut back and forth between him and the miniature and I never go "whoa, the colors keep changing."
Kudos to SSC for providing both options regardless.
