I figure people want to see both options before deciding which version to buy

They are not really competing about the same audience anyways. So I don't think SSC will care much.

Yeah they must be really nervous, i don´t think so. :wink1:

SSC will have something out sooner rather than later. Now, I can say it won't be able to match XMs in terms of display options, Switchout parts, or detail. However, it will have a light up feature, a Legacey sculpt, a more graceful flying pose (crosses fingers and prays a little), and a nicer price tag. In the end I hope both companies put out beautiful products that people can be proud to own.

Me too. No matter how much everyone in the XM thread thinks I'm just trying to bash XM's pieces...

A cheap and rushed proto is definitely right around the corner.

With direct competition, same exact statue. SS needs to stay on their game. If SS turns out good, it's cheaper for me as well :). But the IM at the con fail to bring the wow effe ct.

In germany, maybe around the world, we say less is more. :wink1:

This XM VII is just to much. Looks like doing everything we can. Put out 1000 parts, make two poses, change legs. It´s not like a statue. I´m very happy with Cap, Mageneto, Hawkeye and Wolverine, but not with VII.

Now waiting for SS VII.

I agree, actually. When a piece becomes a bit too modular, if takes away from the sense of it being a finite object. Something that I like about statues, normally.

Additional switch out weapons, etc. Bonus in my books :dunno

I can kind of get the criticism. It is kind of like a Swiss Army knife with all the tools out. However the piece does look great.

In my case I have Hot Toys MK II, MK IV, War Machine 1 and Iron Monger in a museum pose group. The XM 'all out' dynamic flight pose will provide a nice contrast...along with the scale bump.
