hey Galctiboy, how does the switchblade mechanism work? button on the hilt? love the sword! but i'd rather have Clancy's sig on the holder than the blade.

man. i still can't believe there's not a Medieval Kurgan made, not even a custom. seriously, i wonder if Shawn would add one to his custom line. a

Actually they just move in and out... no fancy mechanism. Nice part about the signature is its only one one side. So if you don't like it, flip it around and no one need be the wiser.

while this is more leather work than sculpting, i'd think this would be about as intricate as Kurgan armor. plus i'd bet his Spawn is even more so.

Disagree completely. That Lurtz is great, but IMO the Kurgan armour is 10x more intricate. Not to mention, you have the addition of leather, chainmail, fur(hard to duplicate in 1/6) and an amazingly intricate helm.

And the armor is basically full body. You have the large chest/back plate. Shoulder armor. Shin guards that cover to the top of the boot. Elbow guards. On the right arm a forearm guard. And still more plating on the belt on on the left leg.

could do Kurgan. or are you saying Big K just can't be done at all? where's that Kurganite spirit!

well he did make more than 1 lurtz. i have 1. it kicks ass. and that armor over his stomach isnt leather, its plate. not to mention the casted sword and sheild which are very sturdy and almost better than SS. he also has casted leg plate mail on his shins and over his feet. so i think a kurgan would be do-able.

i think u can compare it to a point. only one master set of armor needs to be sculpted. the rest cast. just like rubber suits, armor, heads ect. the Kurganites have lost faith! we should have never criticized SS for not making one, as it must be impossible.
Seriously tho, if anyone can do it, it's Shawn. didn't a couple peeps around here take a stab at it? i seem to remember some pics.
we need a Kurgan smilie...
