i feel your pain man. this really is/would be my 1st sideshow purchase, been waiting, following this piece for a long time. looking at the time it sold out and when i was put on the wait list i think i had just missed it.

so im guessing they go by who's atop the wait list first? do you have an order id?...maybe that will indicate how far down the list we are...

You are right starscream, waitlist orders are converted in the order they are received. I know the EX would have been nice but if you miss out you could always make your own blades for the regular version - the switch out hands and guns make it possible for you to put your own custom blades in there.

The feel is different lol. The sideshow sticker, the box. Well, all are just psychology. Do u have any idea how many produced for regular one.

I got my order in for the EX...my screen froze for like 6 minutes right after I hit confirm order. I sat there thinking...if I dont touch it the order will go through. Sure enough the screen finally came up saying I got my order in. But seriously for $1200 this better not weigh only 8lbs or im gonna be ticked. Maybe it was suppose to say 8kg...that makes more scense.

Maybe I should be thankful since the weight is 8lbs. I think it's made of resin not steel or aluminum. coz it's too light for 24" figure.

sideshow doesn't really mention the material right?

It says $4200 best offer. Whos to say you offer 1600 he wont take it? One thing to think about is when the last movie came out, customs sold sold as high as $6K!

A few of these might pull 3.5-5K in July. Glad I got one EX

Congrats to all you guys who got in on this. I wanted it so much but didn't have the 240 to drop straight away. It was truly a big dissapointment for me. As for the person asking 4k..... Dream on!! I wish it went to a fan instead. I'm still a bit annoyed they only put out a 100 of these for all the fans though

Optimus Prime is composed of high quality polystone and die cast metal materials. I hope that helps.

Maybe they misspelled styrofoam instead of polystone. Wonder if the weight is right.
