Yeah if the paint isn't good then i'll get a refund and spend the money on something else. I'm hopeful this will be awesome though. :)

Will they actually refund you in that case?I just thought they would replace it.

Ill push them for a refund if it happens with mine, and this piece is a really hard piece to paint, specially in the smaller tight areas.

Well i'd like to try another one first anyway if the paint was bad on the first.

Did anyone know where to buy a regular one beside ss website? I want to get some discount on the regular.

Bigbadtoystore.com has em for 1099.99 but you still need to pay the deposit...They wont charge the remainder til it ships.

Anyway onto my question, forgive me for being a newbie to collecting but why is this so expensive? I am so tempted to pull the trigger but man 1200 is a lot of money...thats like 4 premium formats! My sabretooth is gigantic (20" at least) and he was only 300, what gives? Is this made out of some different material or what?

Thanks.

Its made from angel wings, puppy breath and unicorn horns.

Now that makes sense!!!

But in all seriousness, I am guessing its because how difficult and intricate this is to paint, as well as adding diecast metal to the sculpt? Its gorgeous...its just that I keep imaging what I could spend $1200 bucks on.

That and the fact that this is Optimus Prime! they knew this would sell at $1200 so why not charge it? i'm more than happy to pay this if it comes perfect. :)

thanks a lot, will check it soon!

This statue better blow my mind. I hope its not a $300 statue and sideshow wants to milk the customer $900. Because the scale is not large enough to be that much and its not articulated.

Will the reg even sell out? I know the $1200 is a big price tag but I thought there would be more transformers fans.

Yea I agree, I want this badly...so I am kind of taking my time ordering and dont want it to sell out before I get a chance to get it.

Hopefully they'll still have some when you're ready to order one. :hi5:
