There's going to be more Transformers films on the way. Its a cash cow for Paramount now. I doubt if they will reboot it though and I doubt if Bay will be back but he's set up a film universe that is ripe for another filmmaker to come in and put his or her stamp on. Would like to see a Generation 2 film with Rodimus Prime and Galvatron now.

And now since we're in July and its only 20 days until SDCC, Sideshow will most definitely have Optimus at their booth. Whether it will be available and shipping in 20 days is anybody's guess.

I personally think that Transformers deserve better quality. Yes, they are giant robots who fight each other.. But they're more than just that.

They're a very unique classic. Like the Predator or Alien..

I agree, and I would've liked to see more of the robot characters interacting, etc. But I think they decided that wouldn't appeal to general audiences in the way that simpler action movie might.

Indeed. It brings back some good memories from summer 2007. It had heart, great action scenes and the humour was at an appropriate level.

I just went & see the new Transformers, I wasn't going to bother because of all the bad write up's, I thought I'd just save it for Blueray but my nephews really wanted to see it but it turned out to actually be ok. I didn't realise how long it was though, that is along film, I really enjoyed the battle at the end & the new girl
