Can I see pics of the pouch magnet?
Has anyone done a body swap?
I didn’t do a body swap, but I ended up purchasing a second HT Boba Fett. I have the regular release for my ESB display and used the second Fett and the additional parts from the deluxe set along with parts from the SS Mythos Fett to make my own. While it’s not cost effective, buying 2 figures just to have one. I ended up selling all the extra parts I had left over from the Mythos Fett and was able to recoup most of it back. I really liked the way it turned out. Here’s a couple quick pics in my display.

I’ve been considering picking this figure up, 1 to add Boba to my tiny collection and 2 to create a mythos Jango with all the mythos stuff this comes with. Do you think it’s even worth it? Is it worth the price tag? I see a lot of complaints about cheap parts and the body.

Risk vs reward:

1. Super cool looking figure.

2. A less-than-optimal body/armature.

Only you can determine if his beauty justifies the patience it takes to deal with him.

Thanks!!! I have a bunch of fun in the winter making bases, displays and dioramas. I went from not having a single Hot Toy figure in December to having 9 in hand now and over 15 more in order. These are fantastic and I love seeing all your guys’ photos!
I’m getting older, so I am really going to dive in to the action figure photography as a fun hobby.
I blame you guys 😂

I am in the middle of making a handful of cool bases, and I did a little research and am making them all to fit in the IKEA Detlof display cases. Can’t wait till some of them are done!

Thinking of buying this one or one of the HT Bobas from Mandalorian/BoBF. Decisions :p

Saw someone in a Facebook group, think it was Jedha’s Patrol, who posted an amazing picture of his Mythos Boba in a pose just like the ild Mythos statue. Can’t find it anymore which is a bummer, I’m sure a lot of you Mythos fans would dig it.

Why the hell you not showing us, instead of teasing us about a cool pic and then its all haha no, I aint got it? For shame. lol

I’ve struggled with getting this figure posed in a way where the poncho looks natural. I removed the wire, then I decided to put a wire back in, but I could never get the poncho to fall the way I wanted it too. It always looked off to me. Until now… I think I finally got it right!

HAHA I think I found the pic in question! And I just HAPPENED to run across it. If this isnt it, its close.

NOT MY PIC and I do not even know whose pic this is. I dont even know what group I saw it in, I'm in several different 1/6 groups. BEHOLD

Questions:

1. Where the hell did he get that base?

2. How did he make the supporting arm bend more than ninety degrees?

We will never know, alas. Exquisite posing and futzing of this figure!

1. base is from Battle Damage Endgame Thanos
2. Probably a body swap

Like you said though, great posing and futzing.

Ho hard do you reckon it would be to switch over to a HT knock off or COO Model body?
idk. I don't own the figure so idk how difficult it is to get the clothing off and then back on. But I do know the figure is on one of sideshow's slimmer bodies so I'm not sure the standard HT KO body would fit the clothing. You'd probably need a slim like what HT used on their ESB/ROTJ Boba figures unless you don't mind the suit being filled out a bit more. But if you do manage to get that far, the most challenging thing will be the boots. Sideshow uses very large ball joints for the ankles on their current bodies. So, you'll either need to remove the socket in the boots (which tends to be a real pita) and replace with a standard socket; or use the hot glue method of taking a standard ankle joint and set it into the larger Sideshow socket and fill it with hot glue with the standard ball joint inside.

Luv dio bases myself but really haven't had time to make any; just repurpose. Phicen puts out a lot of cool bases with its girlie figs....

I'd picked this one up to work with Marvel's Hela, but now I'm thinking it'd be good for Boba, or Vader, or maybe any Andor figs down the road.
