Jedibear, you're nailing these pics bro! Please take more bro. I've said it before and will continue to say this is Sideshow's best figure they have ever made. He feels very high quality and has a very unique look that sets him apart from most of my other star war figures. Go get you an R5-D4 and snap some more pics with them both.

Back at home now...had another great trip out west. Going to head back out there for good someday I think.

Really enjoyed experiencing this great figure out in a natural environment...hope you all have been enjoying the results. This figure has just shot up to the top tier of my sixth scale collection. Sideshow really put in the effort here and created something special. Will Hot Toys do a "Kenobi" figure once that show hits D+? Probably. And it will most likely be a fine figure. But that won't take away from sideshow's achievement with this Mythos figure. It has a unique look all it's own. Among other things, it reminds me how different artists can present the same character in comics and all of them have something distinctive about the look and presentation that reaches folks in different ways. So it is with this figure.

And as one of my favorite new characters on "The Mandolorian" would say....I have spoken.

Maybe my next trip can feature the Mythos Fett....we'll see what the force brings us.

So I ended up picking this up and holy **** am I glad I did! I dont think I've ever been this impressed with a Sideshow 1:6 before!

I bought a parted out HT E3 Ewan sculpt/body and baby Luke so my initial plan was to do a E3/Mythos style Mandalorian theme with Obi and Baby Luke. But I'm more impressed than I thought I'd be with this sculpt. At least I'll be able to swap portraits here and there. But man...really impressed. Love him.

Got my baby Luke and HT Ewan Obi Wan sculpt and body so I swapped the clothes over and really loving it. I have a sculpted neck piece that I have put the Alec Sculpt on so I can swap them out whenever I want to change them up. But I'm pretty happy with this look right now.

I know HT will eventually do one from the show but we dont know what hell all come with or how hell look. The Mandalorian has really inspired me so I wanted to do a pre ANH/Post Jedi purge Obi Wan with Baby Luke.

Well, those shots just blew my nature walk right out of here, didn't they? The Ewan head looks good, but I'm kinda partial to the original look for this figure.

Yeah it's a tough one to decide on which sculpt I want to use that's why I swapped it to this body and put a sculpted neck on the Alec sculpt so if I ever wanted to change it up I can.

By the way, Rzeznikk, I didn’t mean to imply your pics weren’t cool, they are. I just detest the prequels to the point that, as much as I like Ewan as an actor, he will always be second fiddle to Sir Alec — much like Connery will always be the best Bond.

No offense taken. People like different things. I have the HT Old Ben to represent Alec. And while I detest the prequels as well, Ewan is the only thing I liked about them. So I felt this was a nice way to represent him without representing the prequels.
