Just...WOW. If that is truly what they sent out for the second batch, they should be embarrassed. If I had received that knowing that that first batch was so significantly different (ie: better quality) I would have sent it back or a refund. The quality drop is huge.

This makes me sad and disappointed for SSC. I have liked the last few 1:6 scale SW offerings like the two Mythos figures, the Skiff Lando and yes, even the deluxe ROTJ Luke. The all have a different level of quality from other companies, but they were decent figures and a lot of fun.

It's like they cannot offer anything new for 1:6 scale SW so they just keep doing these reissues that seem to end up lessor quality than the initial release. It would almost be better if they just didn't bother if they are not going to at the very least offer the figures with the same level of quality and materials as they did they original release.

At this rate, SSC is going to end up as nothing more than a distribution center for other sixth-scale companies and just offering their wildly expensive statues.

But I think SS is already headed that way. The X-men 1/6 line seems to be the only thing that's really thriving for them in the 1/6 category with pretty quick sell outs/waitlists. The DC line is slowly dying I think just like the SW line has.

Fantastic shot! But yeah, glad I got the first batch too - who thinks that anyone is gonna change a fig for the worse mid-production? Tho ASMUS got a rash of *"#@ when their 1/6 Frodo started showing up with dark eyes vs. the original blue.

Just arrived yesterday. I know its nothing newly released, but I really liked the Mythos Boba Fett and this is pretty cool too. I made a new base for it while I was waiting for it. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Thanks jedibear, I get a ton of enjoyment out of seeing your pictures when you post them. I’m starting to learn how to stand back and look at the “big picture“ before snapping a shot.

Looked great on him. They wouldn’t, but it’d be kind of funny if Hot Toys chose to make that version.

But swapping this figure’s outfit onto the sculpt and body from the Kenobi figure would look great.

Yea I noticed that as well at the end of the episode. Pretty much the exact outfit from this figure which was sort of cool to see not going to lie. Wonder if that’ll get a spike in orders from sideshow or if Sideshow got a little cut for the design.

I'm in the same boat. I have a coupon to use, but I think HT will do a better head sculpt. I'm glad that mythos look is canon now. I want mythos kenobi with an eopi, then I can pair them with Qui Gon in his robes.
