What is considered selling out fast? A few minutes? There are collectibles that sell out that fast, P.O.P. figures for example.

I think R2 & Threepio did sell out. SW has a huge following my friend and those two droids have been plastered everywhere when the movie first came out. I remember seeing them in commercials too.
