Blammo, that looks pretty AWESOME! Loving the detail of the base and the light-up lantern. I even really like Jack's crossed leg casual 'leaning' pose. And I think the likeness is pretty close personally.

The only thing I'm not 100% on yet is the arm holding out the coin. I'm still hoping for a switch-out arm of sorts, an alternate head with hat and smirk, and (if at all possible), his Captain's jacket.

P.S., is that Jack the monkey I see behind Sparrow's feet? Looks like he might come with the regular since the photo doesn't say "SIDESHOW EXCLUSIVE" on it...so switch-out heads/arms or the jacket are a possibility for the EX. Hope it's not a print...

Very nice but I'd have preferred a different pose and the portrait needs some work. Will have to think about this one. I'd like to know if SS intend on making another version?

What's great about a piece like this is the demographical boundaries it crosses. We took our 3 year old on the actual ride last year and she loved it and the POTC movies are some of my wife's favorite films. Its rare that she sees a PF and immediately says "Oh you have to get that one" but she did this morning.

It looks fantastic.
