For me and lot of people, the Saber in this position (see photo) will be much more cool and class than the actual position on the official pics

An hand with possiblity to display it on different position will be very appreciate :monkey3
So is it on work ?

Thanks in advance for your answers

By the way, for me, the actual color of the pants is perfect
Even if is not 100% movie accurate, I prefer 100x the Black pants on Anakin than the brown pants because the black pants is a transition to the black costume of Darth Vader

So I hope you will not change the color of it.

Dan knows his stuff!

Thanks, man! I've studied this costume more than any rational being should, that's why I'm so passionate about this PF. I've waited for it for a long time and I want it to be just perfect!

Actually, the costume was made so close to black without actually being black on purpose. All of Anakin's costumes reflect his slow turn to the dark side. In TPM he wears light tan/creme colored tunics, ten years later in AOTC it's a medium brown with dark tabards. In ROTS, Anakin is so close to the dark side without having gone over, the fact that it's still brown symbolizes that he's still able to walk the light path if he makes the right choices. It isn't until he is burned and put into the all black suit that he is beyond redemption (well, for a few movies anyway :D). Costume designer Trisha Biggar mentioned this deliberate design choice in several articles before AOTC and leading up to ROTS.

I didn't even notice the pants were black until the other day on another board when someone pointed it out. I thought they were just cast in shadow but after comparing them to the boots they are definitely darker. Ironically, the pants are the lightest brown on the real costume.

For me the most important on this PF is to changed the orientation of the saber, all the rest I am happy with
(the Black pants on Anakin look better good than the brown pants for me)

However if Sideshow want to change the costume for be more "movie acccurate", no problem too, but honestly I prefer the Sideshow costume version.

Well, again, I didn't promote the saber positions because 1) you'd have to resculpt the gauntlet and all to make it look right really, sure they could reposition the arm but the hand isn't really holding the saber like it would look for a downward tilt and I'm sure some people would notice how strange it looked, I would, and 2) the whole thing is more complicated to redo than costuming I'd wager, and 3) LFL may have influenced the position not wanting to be an exact mirror of the promotional shot the PF closeley mirrors, same for having his hand up in a Force gesture. I think/hope we can see the clothing changes, but beyond that I think is asking too much at this stage.

The hair color is personally my biggest concern, and I think that can still be changed unless they are already in production (but with a Q3 release I wouldn't think so). I think the way he is holding the saber is fine, Anakin may have usually held it the other way (its the way I would hold it too) but if he has been fighting with it I can visualize it being turned around that way. Plus those pictures show its not bad.

This PF is so great, I hope they have really good quality control on it, otherwise its going to have a long way to fall.

I noticed this when I was first watching ROTS myself as I'm sure most of you all have as well. That if you take the time to notice you see his transition in his costumes in just how much darker they are compared to the rest of the Jedi. Its one of those things that once I noticed it really has stuck with me since I first watched ROTS. You see that he has the darkside but is capable of not going that direction if he wanted.

If you want to nitpick about the lightsaber then it should have a more defined point at the tip, since that was how they were animated in ROTS. **I DON'T CARE** since it looks great but at least that would be a valid criticism IMO. :)

What's actually kind of weird, I was taking a picture of some of my figures and the tunic on Anakin and some of the strips of cloth on Darth Maul come up a weird color in the camera, like some kind of weird purple color:

Really weird. But I'm all for more accurate colors if it makes it better. And also remember as far as the hand goes it has to be in such a position to where you can remove the robe so it can't be changed too much.

Not agree with you, changed the orientation of the saber is the most important thing on this statue, all the rest all of people are happy with

Anakin was my 1st figure from Sideshow I had bought and it always confused me because When I looked at pictures online on different sites the colors always seem to change. Just something the different lighting did.

Annie looks pretty in purple... Wonder what's up with that.

It's got to be something with the light or the camera system, I wasn't using flash. But what I also noticed that was weird is if you take the camera and look at an LCD screen and start changing focus there's a point where the screen will look black, so you can get a cool highlighting effect on your figures by fixing the focus that way and taking a picture of them in front of the LCD so they'll have the sort of moonlight glow from behind them but the background ends up black.

The saber orientation is irrelevant to the character look, wrong color and tailoring are, and like I said, I think clothing changes are possible at this point, where the saber points is probably locked in.
