I think the last one I bought was the Godzilla print that was up awhile back. I haven't looked at any since.

I've never ordered one but I tried getting a Fellowship of the Ring print late last year, $100 price tag, 600 edition size, and it literally sold out in less than 5 minutes from the twitter on-sale announcement and I missed it. I could always buy it on eBay for $300+ though I suppose.

I ordered all three. My QotD is on waiit-list, but it'll convert later today.

Why is she on wait list? She still seems to be available. Did you order right at the start when the wait list error was happening? You may be better off canceling and putting her back into your cart to buy her fresh now if so!

I've been tempted by some of the Mondo prints, but honestly, I've never been involved in one of their sales. I always seem them after the fact, and go, "Wow, those look cool!" Like the Ryan Gosling Drive print (prints, I should say! They've done a handful, and they all look great!) I'd love it! Or Trick'r Treat...both beauties!

But yeah, I've heard nothing but insanity from their orders, and if they don't even have times when they go up, then there's no way I'd ever catch one!

That wouldn't surprise me. I'm usually pretty quick when I try to get them and the majority of the time I miss out. I've been lucky a couple times with getting variants, like the Godzilla one, but generally I get the print in my cart then it tells me it's sold out when I try to check out.

Yeah, that's probably how it is. That's pretty crazy to set up for them, but I guess they always sell on the aftermarket as well. It's too bad that they can't set up something that'll stop automated programs from checking out...there's gotta be a way, but maybe that'd interfere with regular orders as well. I'm sure they care on some level, but being that sought after each time an order goes up, I'm sure they're also not that worried about it either.

Going through an artists direct sale (if they do a direct sale) is easier and less of a headache typically than tying to go through Mondo. Just a note for those who may miss Mondo drops in the future. Sometimes the artist will charge a bit more but when you factor in the secondary market value that happens with some, you're still paying less in the long run.
