Mine has just arrived and on the box a nice sticker offering me a $20 off next purchase, so ideal to use on the boba. I will then use the rewards from this and the boba for the vader. Will keep my premium format rewards for the premium format Star Wars line.

Not the best photo as I took it quick with my iPad. Real nice statue in the flesh and look fab in my Star Wars display room. I only usually collect the Star Wars premium format line and gentle giant busts but as the new vader wasn't for me, I seen this and also liked fett and vader so will get these 3. If anyone asked if they should purchase this statue its a def yes from me.

So I am getting the book from amazon and it got me a bit curious about this line again. I would like to know whether or not this stormtrooper is made of solid polystone? The specs don't say, just lists a dimensional weight of 20 pounds and a product weight of 10 pounds. If anyone who has this can confirm the material used, if it is solid, and what the actual weight ended up being I would appreciate it.

Also boba fett has the same weight listed as the stormtrooper, but strangely vader has a dimensional weight of 31 pounds but a product weight of only 6.5 pounds? Makes me wonder if they are cheaping out on materials?

I don't think they are cheapening out on materials. They have said many times they use whats best for the job. They use poly stone when possible but some projects don't work well with PS. I think what matters more is detail and paint application not weight. As long as it looks stellar on my shelf that should be most important. I really like the look of this statue.

I ordered one of these last night along with the Vader. I didn't realize this one was already shipping. The in-hand photos in this thread look terrible. I hope this looks better in person.

the photos are fine. honestly, it's a white and grey statue...not sure how much different an "inhand experience" would be.

Well said. People have been complaining about a statue's weight since the original Boba Fett PF and I've never seen where weight = quality. If people want their statues to weigh heavier, just tape some weights to the bottom of the base or something:lol

I ordered it as well. Will get vader to complete the set. Probably will burn my points up on him. Love the option of the exclusive alternative heads.

yeah, the exclusive is the only way to go on this and fett. I am waiting for a discount on vader and fett to order those as well.

I opened mine last night and I'm very pleased with it. I passed on Fett but have Vader ordered. These should look real nice together.

I'm very interested in this piece, but I'm worried it'll look too small in scale next to my 1/4 statues.

Can someone who has this piece take a side by side photo next to the SS Stormtrooper PF or Darth Vader PF or a similar 1/4 piece?

thanks in advance!
