Damn son....

I've been keen to skip this entire line as I'm just not a fan of them compared to the final versions we got. But I've always enjoyed Stormtroopers and this has definitely tempted me. But I can only PO 2 new SS statues this year and 1's already gone to a Court of the Dead PF. Probably going to use the other for the new Red Sonja...but I might dump all my points in towards this after I get her squared away.

Either way, looks a lot better than I expected!

Just noticed that they're calling this line "Concept Artist Series" and not "Ralph McQuarrie Series."

I hope that means we'll get to see some Joe Johnston figures and statues. I actually liked his trooper designs even more than McQuarrie's.

Joe Johnston did do concept art for the classic BSG series...the Cylon being one of them.

I was going to pass on these but....I now have more room since scaling back and the Court of the Dead pieces are so slow to release....so maybe I'll pick these up.

I wonder when the first one is going to go up for PO? When they sent out that email, I thought for sure it would be right around the corner, but have heard nothing. Originally I had no interest in these, but now I am kind of intrigued after having read Dark Horse Lucas draft of Star Wars and seeing some of the artwork played out. Plus they should scale well with my Mythos pieces.
