Does anyone know of a good custom Commando that is available. Now that I have been thinking about this figure, I really feel that I need one.

AVAILIBLE, no...but Hurricane has done a couple that turned out very nice.

Yeah. I'd asked him about them a while back. He told me that at some point, he's planning to release the Commando armor in a kit. Fingers crossed!

I quit collecting Star Wars 12" figures a few months back, but I would still be game for at least 2 Republic Commandos if they were made. I just love the armor design. I have like 8 of them in 3 3/4 hasbro scale...

If sideshow made these I would grab all the members of Delta Squad in a heart beat as well as the members of Omega Squad and any of the other primary chracter in the Republic Commando stories.

They'll only make them if they can milk out the molds with repaints.

Not only can they milk it, but it's easy. Aside from the standard Republic Commandos where they can do many variants like snipers, demolition experts, riflemen, etc, they can do correlating paints with other units like the Utapau and Kashyyyk battalions, plus they've got the four unique members of Delta Squad as well as the four members of Omega Squad.
