Love me my vintage sideshow..
So much melodrama and fear mongering. Rhino is hollow when compared to skaar. Is he any thinner than Baby Doll? She only weighs 7lbs but gets nothing but praise. Rhino was always advertised as 18lbs. I don't know why anyone ever though it would be full cast. None of their statues are anymore. Then you have people trolling this thread pretending to be "insulted" or let down but it isn't as if they had it preordered. It is to laugh.
Who turns heads when people come to see my statues? Hulk Maquette and Rhino Comiquette are everyones favorites. Not Spider-Man Comiquette nor original Thor PF. Fact is the sculpts are getting better. The amount of detail on Hulk and Rhino is amazing. People also know better than to attempt to lift my stuff.
As for the cracks... ya that sucks. It has nothing to do with it being hollow. The cracks do not penetrate all the way through. It happens where there are skin folds(where the outer layer is weakest). I'm not sure the outer layer is polystone but rather vinyl. Before anyone requires bypass surgery from that statement, consider that Jerry of Pop Culture Shock is going in this direction. Vinyl outter layer with polystone inside. The vinyl permits dar more detail than polystone is capable of. Anyhow, someone here posted a ridiculously easy fix for the cracks that requires no skill or significant investment. Fortunately mine did not have any issues.
This is a terrific statue that represents Rhino very well. The sculpt is amazingly detailed and very well painted. I wish I didn't like it as I really wanted to save some money for some new gym equipment but I can't do it. I'd sooner sell my Skaar.

i've had some issues with ssc in the past, but i have to say they've looked after me without problems. this issue and the $20 credit for "instock" items only is a ****ing joke and insults everyone in the hobby imo....
Yeah, as it turns out your statement is false. The cracks are caused by how hollow they cast him, and they absolutely do go all the way through. Since yours came with no issues, I have no idea how you can state otherwise.
Patched mines up today with some epoxy putty, just put some in with a toothpick, smoothed the excess with my finger and then sculpted fine lines in to match with the surrounding area with the toothpick.

I would love to see these cracks "that you can pass a coin through" yours has.....mind posting some pics?
Yeah, bit of a mea culpa on that claim. Seeing them through the eyes of outrage and injustice made them a bit bigger in my mind. I later tried a dime and it didn't quite make it, so I was hoping that my post got buried and forgotten.
I did however manage to get a pin through this one on the upper left shoulder and in the cluster of holes just above his buttcrack.

...because anything that is mentioned that's not stroking it is considered trolling. (even if it's true)
