Thanks.
Really happy he was able to fit in there.
Honestly I was not too crazy of the tight fit he looked in a besta alone.

Ty.
Believe it or not I got this from a local collectible store that was discontinuing selling Disney statues for $300.00.
Hardest part of all that glass was it took 4 of us to move this thing.
Man was it heavy.
:slap

Ha so that explains why this is so much better than so many others. It's the best glass display ever:clap

I thought that said Walt Disney but I couldn't figure out why :lol great display and that's a great price for it. Congrats.

This isn't as fragile as everyone here might think. Hammered the **** outta it & I barely broke him.

Good to hear, but proof is in the vid.:wink1: Can you tell us that at the very least the horn is solid? As it would seem to be the most vulnerable part if accidently bumped.

I'm thinking this is made out of fiberglass with polystone exterior which gives it strength despite it being holllow cast and lightweight because it certainly doesn't feel like Polystone when you pick it up. Doesn't even sound that way if you tap it with your knuckle as well.

Sounds like a garden gnomes that you buy at Lowe's. :lol

Hmmm this could give me hope on this. Really glad to hear this. So if I drop it will it explode? Or just chip? If this thin material is really strong then it gives hope for galactus. The main concern is how will this hold up inna year or two.

Hmmm..... I hope this means there's hope in a good way.

to be honest i think it's safer to drop this vs a real "old school" PF type statue. still would rather have old school though.

The is solid as is the rest of the head. The body is in fact hollow but has this material that makes it tough to break.

That's exactly it! Thanks man been driving myself nuts trying to figure that out. :lol

I'm almost certain he won't completely break if you drop him, aside from the fingers which are solid poly stone, everything else would just chip it.

I completely agree.

Did you have pictures after you broke it so I can see if it is? If it's fiberglass you'll probably notice a fiber-like weave to the broken pieces (kinda like frayed cloth) as opposed to clean lines of polystone.

I know the comiquette has fibreglass material in it to reinforce the structure of the leg. Regardless if its fibreglass though, price could had been cheaper.

Yes it does have that material. I'll try & upload pics when I get home.

So why on the Rhino's description only says "Product Type: Polystone Statue"if they mix with other stuff ? So should be Polystone/Fiberglass...

:lecture yes why don't they just update it so it does not cause anger and confusion? Do it SS it will save us all so many questions.

So that's false advertising. This is the same thing if I go and buy a shirt and the label says 100% Egyptian cotton then I find out it is mixed with polyester.

So what to do now ?

Fiberglass is stronger than Polystone, and drop resistant. I like that they are doing this. Probably explains the higher cost as well despite the lack of polystone. I have a custom Juggernaut that was made out of both materials as well. It's strong as heck, I remember dropping it from 4 feet high and it didn't break the statue.
