Sideshow should make Old Spiderman Comiquette Variant??

Amazing Spider-man PF should be shown soon...ish.

It goes without saying most people who missed out on grails want them revisiting, the people that have these valuable items don't.
I missed lots of nice pieces, Pred 1:1 Bust, Maquette, BC Maquette, T-800 PF etc... Still don't want varients. Completely new sculpts would be nice.

Hilarious! I bet the people voting yes are the same people who call Sideshow out when the reproduce, with slight variations, a piece they bought.

They should be upfront on reveal about any varients, like the Hulk PFs, so everyone can make an informed choice.

Variants suck. Do something creative and original. I'm tired of SSC just rehashing old statues. Where does it stop? Don't have the original Doom PF? Just make a variant. Wasn't around for the original Hulk PF? How about a variant? The original Cap PF not in your collection? Let's see a variant. Where does it end? Yes, I do have the original EX COM. So what? I didn't get the original Cap PF and I'm not asking for a variant. I'll try and score it one way or another. If that doesn't work out, I'll wait for a new 1/4 Cap statue to be released. It's not like we've seen the last 1/4 Spidey or Cap get made.

Is this a joke? All you do is rail on SSC because of high edition sizes and variants. Now you want a variant of this because you don't have one in your collection? Wow.

Well, Igo just popped over at SF and said a variant of the original COM is NOT happening. Don't worry though, SSC is working on another comic based Spidey in 1/4 scale according to Igo so all is not lost for those of you that want a 1/4 Spidey.

Well, Igo just popped over at SF and said a variant of the original COM is NOT happening. Don't worry though, SSC is working on another comic based Spidey in 1/4 scale according to Igo so all is not lost for those of you that want a 1/4 Spidey.

Well in that case then yeah I don't care about getting a variant of it. That's great to hear and it better be soon. The Campbell line is just a bad idea all around. If all 4 of those were PFs and without those Disney Princess looking facial art style and the extra long legs and fingers I think we'd all be a lot happier. And the old Com is beautiful but not perfect. Being the black part of the base then turns into a building wall? It just doesn't make sense, half environment and half standard base. Like the Hawkeye PF base. I don't know I just don't like it like that. Anyways the old comiquette is all there is for a comic 1:4 Spider Man so that's the one I need. I'd buy one definitely. And XM is too much.

DHAVAL, I know how badly you wanted the original COM. However, isn't this for the best? We get an all new Spidey instead of a rehash of an old sculpt. Who knows? You might even like the new sculpt more than the old one. Either way, SSC is far from done with Spidey in any scale. The character is too popular not to see revisits every few years.

For the longest time I passed on virtually EVERY Spidey statue released since I started collecting many years ago. Not a single one captured Spidey the way I wanted. It was so bad, that I didn't have a Spidey for either my 1/6 or 1/4 collection. My Bowen and SSC collection was Spidey-less. I mean, what kind of Marvel collection can you have without a Spider-Man in it? Then SSC released the 1st COM and a few years later, Koto released their Spidey unleashed statue. Man, I was in heaven. Those 2 pieces are the absolute best Spidey statues I have seen. The thing is, I never thought that the original COM could be topped. However, if I'm honest, I have to say that if Koto's Spidey was in 1/4 scale, that may very well be my favorite Spidey statue ever. It is so incredibly dynamic and well sculpted.

My point in saying all this is to impress upon you that your favorite Spidey statue may very well be released in the near future. Erick Sosa (he did the Koto Spidey) is working as AD over at XM now. Can you imagine what they have in store for us? Also, SSC is perfectly capable of giving us another fantastic 1/4 Spidey statue. Just be patient D, I have no doubt you'll be adding a 1/4 Spidey you love to your collection soon enough. Now, if only I could get a fully sculpted 1/4 classic Cap PF out of SSC.....

See i was pointing out variant spidy comi from long time. now they released variant of Campbell spidy for which 1st version i bought & sold coz didnt liked at all. Sideshow released every spidy in variants except Comi. so thought why not they release old spidy comi in another variant. i missed on lots of grail like cap-thor-old hulk pfs but those characters never given variant treatment. only spidy & hulk released in variants.
