Sideshow slow to ship? Other problems

Ok so I took advantage of the giftcard giveaway bonaza around the 3rd of July and ordered a Hot Toys Martian Soldier.

A week rolls by and I get a notice around the 10th saying my credit card was declined. Same card I've always used no problem and nothings wrong with it so I call and they tell me I updated the card without telling them? Whatever I give them the same info theyve had, they realise I was right.

Except now she tells me the total has jumped from $52 shipped, to $62.

I realised that wasn't right and the quote I had w/ Shipping on the site so I called back. I'm told the $62 is "probably" an estimate and it should only end up $52. Whatever.

Here I am on the 19th I was overcharged $62 and it hasn't even shipped yet? What gives?! Has anyone else gotten notice for stuff they purchased around that time that was instock?

I'm not happy about this at all.

Its a busy time of the year for Sideshow so expect some delays. And the pre charge is 99% of time more than what the actual charge is gonna be. I wouldnt get to upset.

Besides you got a $120 product for less than half price, quit your pissing.

Its not a precharge. Its what they put on my card, my billing cycle changes the 16th, this is on there for $62 last statement. If there going to overcharge me, they could at least get it shipped.

Thats weird. I have never been charged prior shipment, just the pre charge, in probably 200 orders. My pre charge will stick around until it ships then disapear and be replace with the actual charge a few days later.

They must not like you.

Yes this is usually what happens for me as well, I get the pre auth whatever before hand, not charged. My concern is I haven't even gotten a confirmation email since the last one telling me my card was messed up.

Maybe they know I'm the guy who gives them ____ about the Indy line

I know some of them lurk around here so that is entirely possible. I never see The Josh having issues with his orders

The shipping this is a little weird to go up $10 like that. I'd just call Sideshow back and ask.

And you weren't overcharged $62, you were overcharged $10.

Just call customer service and they will take care of it right away. They are a little crazy right now because of SDCC. I called today about my order and they changed the status to shipping within an hour.

They don't have any Mars Attacks figures.

So many people ordered them they had to order more from Hot Toys. Nice that they charged me already and it still says instock tho.

They'll "let me know" whats happening in 2 days, if they get them. Just wow...

I think I'm about to call back and cancel and try to get my money back.

My F-302 replica has been 'shipping soon' for somewhat over the 72 hours and at this stage, I'll be very surprised if it gets sent out this week, so post SDCC is looking likely.

Well my order was just cancelled, no more Martian Soldiers.

If you also ordered one of these and haven't gotten a shipping notice, you better check and make sure yours isn't cancelled as well.

They are crediting me the $75 gift card I used so I can put it twoards something else, but I still am going to have to go through ____ with my credit card company now to get the $62 charge removed.

If the inventory was off and you received your gift card credit back, then we will put a credit through for any monies charged to your card for you. You should see the credit reflected on your next card statement and this should have been explained in an e-mail to you about your refund already. If no, please tell me the rep that was assisting you so we can correct the situation!

If by shipping normal, you mean once your order says 'item shipping soon', which means within 72 hours, then no, there not. Since my order has been saying that for a good week now.
