You sure? I think he also switched his over to the ST1 body.

Okay, I just switched Snake's over from the TT narrow to th ST body and he looks ten times better. I mean the ST makes him look realistic in an uncanny way. I also didn't gear him up fully, just to see what he looked like and I really like the look.

Here he is all geared up. And your definitely right about teh ST body, there is no substitute!

Meh, just like cars, people want factory original over a modified. I'd view collectibles the same way. Which is one of the reasons why people sometimes have problems selling repaints, no matter how good they are.

Depends. I recently sold my HT TDK Original Suit Batman with a custom cape. It went for well more than the regular market value for the figure. However, it also included the original cape.

It really depends. If a modification drastically improves a product, it could possibly really increase the value. By the same token, a really crappy mod could ruin the value. There have been a few custom figures I've bid on and picked up cheaply because their parts were worth more than the figure.

Not if you sold it here. I think it'd also go for more on ebaY if you showed before and after pics explaining about the superior body. Worst case scenario, if you're selling him, just put everything back on the Pro and let him go.

True you might chance out and get a buyer that is looking for those exact mods you done, but more times that not, the original unaltered version will always be in more demand and worth more.
