Creamy peanut butter>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Crunchy peanut butter

Saving $50-$60 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lame print (Olivetti not Adam Hughes)

What is $50 versus spending money on something worth $400.

That's the mentality I can't get, it doesn't really knock any damage on the next statue and if you want to say it adds up BS, because that would eight Ex's you'd have to skip out on to equal basically another high end PF. (6 minimal)

I date wit da wife, Dorkness doesn't have one so that doesn't count he can abuse his GF. :lecture

What?? Knocking $50 off the next statue doesn't mean much?
Save yourself from buying two lame exclusives and you knock $100-$120 off your next statue. If that isn't saving money I don't know what you are thinking :cuckoo:

Save yourself $150-$180 by not buying the 3 lame Olivetti exclusives and put that money towards the EX Cyclops PF which has switch out parts and a cool print = win

Buying exclusives just for the sake of it = fail

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

No it doesn't, not to I at least. :cuckoo:

Close to a 10% discount, that's crap.

Give me 50% now we are talking. SSC will never do that on anything that is worth the dip though.

If they hadn't dropped that Summers portrait and then trod on it... it would have been great!

Secondary market value on the EX with a print on a quality piece like Venom will be higher than what you save by buying a regular...

:exactly::exactly::exactly:

I guarantee you ask any flipper here JBinny/Nash how much they made per Venom once they bought an EX for retail and sold it on profit versus $50 a pop per each you save and the bottom line smokes it.

Lets be honest, I like the statues, I like what they are and what they represent but you can't tell me you don't like looking at one of your favorite statues knowing it could retail for $800 more.

So in the end, I get the best version possible, if I don't like the statue I won't get it at all. I don't buy because I feel like taking a ____ on the pot. Key word is that I like the statue and get the best/limited version possible.

Who said anything about getting rid of Venom? He's staying in my collection permanently. Don't care about resell value = don't care about lame print.

I definitely see the point of getting the exclusive if you are looking to resell it further down the line and for Sideshow's customers service but definitely not for such a lame exclusive alone.

And that folks is the key to having a hobby that sends you broke but is worth a fortune and is elite :hi5:

:goodpost: Switch out parts rock prints and there's nothing wrong with getting savings if you can. That shows how lame print exclusives are versus switch out parts etc. $50 is more than 16% off a statue and $100 is more than 30% savings. You do that 3 times you can buy a whole statue if you save $100.

1 Cyclops PF >>>> 3 Prints :yess:

Sure selling the prints can get some cash but that can yield variable results depending on the statue and print plus it's a hassle.
