It's funny that there's a no photography sign on the booth.

No, you're taking it the wrong way. I was just say for resale purposes. Now if I was a potential buyer that would make me feel a little better.

What's "exhibit B" then?:monkey1

I'll give him credit at least he was ready just in case someone to ever question its validity.

Nicely done.

I do the same exact thing with every single baseball I have signed, except I take a video instead. :) :hi5:

No, no I'm not taking it wrong, I was just playing along:clap, it's all good:peace

Besides, I would never sell this guy!

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Ugh u torture me with these pics. I envy u so much right now. The right statue with the right signature. But I am very happy for u. It's great to see The Man branding his masterpiece. May I ask how much it cost to acquire that signature to be certified?

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Well, anyone who owns one says they are spectacular and must be seen in person. So... that being said, anything is "worth" it when you justify it somehow. As someone stated on here once before that these things are attainable if you just save up your pennies. They aren't completely out of reach. You just need discipline. I myself want one if nothing better comes down the pike but there are so many good things coming out right now with the DC license that I need to pace myself. Meantime something else may come at some point. But to me its worth it just not right now.

This is SO true. It is how I got most of my collection. That and living on Ramon when necessary. :rotfl

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

I can't imagine life without my Spidey EX Comm, especially adorned with HIS almighty signature!

So yeah, it's a must have!
Hey I bet SideShow didn't expect that part of the piece to be a perfect canvas for such a premium signature.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

unless i misread you, but it wont be a very fun hobby if you plan to collect sideshow statues mainly at <1/4 scale. Trust me once you have a few 1/4 the smaller stuff(with a few exceptions) will just pale in comparison.

If you are starting now, i would say focus on 1/4, rather get a few less quantity wise than a shelf full of <1/4 stuff.

Right as much as I like SideShow quality I really only prefer a few pieces. I know for a fact I am more of a 1/6 collector. For one I don't have that much more space for 1/4 plus my funds don't stretch THAT far. :dunno

Thats why SS invented Flex! Better to get you want than settle unless you prefer 1/6 to 1/4th.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

You guys think $850 for a Regular with Stan Lee signature is too much? Thinking of picking it up but its so much money.

No, eventually you not going to get either Reg or EX for under a g so jump on it.

I'm sure you never will. I know that I have those certain few pieces that I'll never let go even if I stopped collecting and sold my collection off.

Congrats on getting Stan the man Lee sig'.

People gonna buy for sure. But I hope not. I prefer they make a new pose for the black version-like web of spiderman #1 where he's standing on a gorgyle. New pose SSC, new pose dammit!
