Yeah. A lot of new collectors have joined the playing field. It would only make sense that they would want to own the best Spidey statue out there. The higher demand from them and the low overall ES on such a popular character can create a lot of buzz even years later.

I remember back in December 2010 That i have to cancel my order for Exclusive because I needed the money But i regret it So i decide to sell my Hot Toys Iron man collections and decided not to continue that line. So got the money for the statue and my pocket and went to get the Regular and put back my self to WL for Exclusive that never convert But at least i got Regular version. Two weeks after the Regular V also sold out @ SSC and every body going crazy trying to get one aftermarket

Here I was thinking back in 2010 that an ES of 650 was high...

Nowadays I'm just waiting for it to hit the "Holy Grail" price point of $2000. It's certified grail at $1000, but $2000 takes it to a whole other stratosphere of "grailhood".

Oh wow! I love how similar yet different our takes are. The best thing about this statue and LSB combo is the nameplate from the LSB actually matches the base of the comiquette with the brick theme.

The Batman Ex was sold out in 5 days, and even the regular Joker is about to sell out according to SSC on FB(less then 20 left). The characters drive the demand. Congrats on the Comiquette peedi ... It looks great.
