Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

There's an exclusive version for this Spidey? What's the difference? I can't seem to find any info about the exclusive version.

Anw, cool pics guys! :)

A terrible art print.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

What are the market prices for the regular and exclusive version?

This Spidey comiquette is really amazing. haha damn there're so many Spidey statues I wanna get! :/

PS: I don't recall my Iron Spidey exclusive saying exclusive on the base, but I might have missed it.

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

I can't remember the last time I even bothered to look at the base of any of my statues.

Oh yea, SIDEHSOW

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Haha I didn't even realize the mispelled. Don't they just stamp the SIDESHOW... How in the fruit they messed that up :cuckoo:

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Hence why I only display the base. One of a kind customization on spelling and art looks like me!

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

Has anyone confirmed the actual weight of this? Sideshow's site says 25 lbs...seems a bit on the high side. I am wondering if I can safely put Spidey, Venom, and Carnage (V & C are each 10 lbs according to SS's site) on the same shelf in my PAX. I would take my spidey out an weigh it myself, but it's kind of a pain with the way I have him in there (I have to take the lights off to get him in and out).

Re: Sideshow Spider-Man Comiquette

EDIT...I just weighed it myself. Spider-Man is about 16 lbs, Venom is about 13 lbs, and Carnage is about 13 lbs. So, around 42 lbs total for the three of them. PAX apparently has a shelf load limit of 44 lbs, so should be ok.

You can always go to the hardware store and buy brackets for the shelving as well if you're worried. Should stablize the shelf a bit.

I plan to do that as well...pretty sure the weak point will be the brackets. I actually have all three on the shelf right now, and it looks ok. But, for my own peace of mind, I may add a few brackets to each side.

I'd do just that. It would give me a greater peace of mind.

i think i've exceeded the weight on each of my pax shelves but, because i'm paranoid i have 4 brackets on each shelf and braced the middle of the shelf I may put a rod in the middle to to prevent strain on the brackets or putting larger brackets. . The biggest concern you'd be having is the shelf itself in the middle "warping". Weight management of each statue and placement of each statue is the key.

Hell, there is a guy with hulk pf and the thing! i call bs on that 44lbs lol
