I decided that unless it has an EX that I absolutely must have, I cannot justify buying directly from Sideshow; ESPECIALLY when the EX is a print that I have no interest in. The taxes and paying full price are just too painfull for CA residents. I will buy the regular from Alterego.

Damn I didn't realize U.S. resident have that much of a tax issues. U.K. and some other countries, yes, but U.S.? I live on North-Eastern U.S. and I get no tax charged. Only shipping of course.

If I get this one through a LCS here in my city, I'd more than likely be paying more! I'd rather get the EX from SS and pay shipping, custom, taxes or whatever else is needed to be paid than get a regular from those thieving bastards!

Got the EX and it's still available. The ES will be LARGE on this one. I'm actually very glad that anyone who really wanted one could get it. I know the price is steep and will keep some away but this is a GREAT looking piece. It truly is worthy of being the first classic Spidey comiquette. Even if I couldn't afford it in one shot I would Flex this piece. This really is a must have for me. The long wait is finally over.

Now...bring on those Cap, Hulk, and Thor comiquettes. My display cases are waiting!

Does the exclusive art print come in same box. Would the exclusive with art print cost more to send international or is it the same?
Because I dont really care about the print so if I can save on postage I will.

That has no sense..then the piece is valuable because it cost you 400$ or because few people own it? Either choice seems "stupid" to me. My collectibles are valuable because I love them and want to have them.

If there is too many out there the market gets watered down. when the item is released you will be able to pick it up for 40% off sideshow price since they out source their items to dealers. Supply and Demand!!!! If Im spending $400 I want it to keep its value at $400 if I ever want to sell it! Its not a car that when it leaves sidehsows factory and reaches me it has already lost value (driving a car off the lot)

This piece is sideshows ferrari based on the price, not everyone is crazy enough to pay for it. I was crazy enough because i have the funds and can still eat so I want it limited. In the future this piece might sell for 240 or so on ebay. Why the f would i pay $400 now and have it sell for 240 ish in January???

Thus far, every EX print that I know of has come in the same shipping box as the statue... The shipping difference would be negligible, as it would only be a few ounces at the most.

This should be very close to 1/4 scale. The more I look at the size and detail of the sculpture, the more I like it. I have mirrors in my display case, so I will be able to see all the detail on the back of the statue.I ordered the regular version and I see this morning the Ex. is still up. This could have a huge ES. I may cancel with SS and pick this up at a cheaper price elsewhere.
