Okay I bought T-1000 from CornerStoreComics/AmazingToyz came packed beautifully with the original Hot Toys cardboard box inside a bigger thick mailing box stuffed with peanuts.100% Professional.

SideShow sent me a T-800 in the Hot Toys box alone. Not even extra taping was done.Luckily it wasn't a international shipping.

How come Corner Store can do a better shipping job than SideShow ? They are 100 times smaller.

thats ridiculous , i got 1 ht figure shipped to me in just the original shipper , if someone walked by my house and seen what it was ........ robbery , it says DX02 Batman , wtf ... luckly yours got to you safe:yess:

I know now...:slap

No the box is from Hot Toys,SideShow just put the mailing label and sent it out.:dunno

i know, they've always done that with ever HT piece i have ordered through them. If their gonna put the name of the product on the outside of a $2k item, what difference does it make on a $150 item?

As much as Webb is a douche I see what he's saying. The "shippers" SS uses offer no protection. Places like AE sell the same product for 10% less and can still add the extra protection of the added shipping box.

Get er done....SS.....:yess:

If you have a problem with the box, send it back for a better one. This is really some retentive ____ guys. "Hey, what lame ____ can we _____ at Sideshow for this week?" :monkey1

Ive always received my items with no problems or damage, though I agree it shouldnt say what it is on the outside of the box.

i dont like it either, but i dont read about any cases of stolen SS products cause they almost always have the recipient sign for it.

Alter Ego (who I assume is AE) sent me the Emperor's throne in the shipper box, and it arrived damaged.

I've never received a damaged box from Sideshow. Have you noticed how thick those shipper boxes are?? I think shipping is what Sideshow does best. . . :p

Nothing wrong with the Regular hot Toys shipper in my opinion. Its pretty much the same practice with Toys2 and other top retailers.

I would like a free t-shirt and a ferrari with every purchase. Sideshow make it happen! :tap :lol

____, and a check to cover six months of the mortgage payment and a year's membership to Pebble Beach Golf Course. Why quit while you're ahead? :huh

I could just as easily argue here that Sideshow's not the one being cheap guys. Order more stuff or duplicates, and you can get it packaged together in a bigger box. :monkey1

While I rarely see the OP do anything more than complain I will say that I am not a big fan of the extremely crumbly foam that SS has switched to for quite a bit of their product. :gah: It has also been known to do more damage comparably to product with rubbing etc -- Patient Zero PF comes to mind.
