There's a Fresh Prince gif for everything! :wave :lol

I don't mind if the Babydoll PF had separate hair and/or head if it means it can be packaged better to minimize risk for breaking and as long as the area where the two parts join is hidden.

And what about the switch out hand for her gun? Is it also going to be magnetized? I wonder if the separation will be hidden as well. I hate magnets. Why can't they just use the good old fashion wedge.

I wouldn't know, but in my opinion, as long as the magnet is strong enough to hold it in place I'm fine with it.

I do hope any separated pieces have hidden joints, no matter what method they use to hold them together.

I'm sure the switch out hand will be magnetized.

Yes, they will be. The separation will also be hidden and the magnets will be strong enough to hold in place. Unless you plan to pick your statue up and dance around with it, I don't see any issues with the magnets.

It'd make most sense for her arm to switch out with the seam hidden under her sleeve

The only possible issues I can see with magnets is that if you have a collection of statues full of magnets (now becoming a trend w/sideshow) and you move them around in place next to others that have easily removable hands, that the negative charge on a magnet would knock off the part. Also, Im not quite sure if magnets weaken over time. Thats another thing I'd be concerned about.

I certainly haven't had that problem yet.

....except for the Baroness, she was poorly designed.

I still don't trust their magnets.

My Baroness is great. :D I hadn't wedged her arm in enough. And she and BW are next to each other with no issues.

You might have gotten a good one, but it sounds like most are pretty frail, magnet is not strong enough.

I am still willing to bet if you put the big gun on her and you bump it, it will fall out.

On topic, mostly.

Oh, and I'm for removable pigtails if it means they won't get broken.
