Production pieces rarely match the prototype so some lack of detail in the paint should be expected. Most of those issues shouldn't be as noticeable from normal viewing distance.

The paint around the eye is a bit disappointing though.

not really sure what to be expected... this is my 1st statue from these guys...
whatever is missing or lacking, i'll fix it myself so i'm still anxious to see them. but it is disappointing tho.

Usually the detail is there in the sculpt, but the paint job doesn't bring it out as much as in the prototype. I usually find that when I have the statue in-hand and on my shelf that everything looks fine--but I'm not looking at them with a magnifying glass. Not to say there may not be bigger issues with the statue on a case by case basis, but more than likely they are all painted the same so if you don't like one then you won't like any of them. Hopefully yours arrives in satisfactory condition since it's your first from them.

yeah i'm still looking forward to them... nothing there i've seen that i can't fix myself that they left off or did sloppy. bigger issue than touching up paint is where to stick it! lol

Sideshow is making bank off all the people canceling ... most had all 4 on order so they see lots of free money! Well played on their end! $139.00 per canceled set lol.

I for one am still hyped about his arrival. These will look cool once all assembled. The others are still way off in the distance though

The small changes don't bother me at all and if people wanna cancel, good for them. But what I can see happening is people start getting these in hand and gushijg over them (so long as there isn't huge QC issues) and all those people who cancelled over the size of paint changes will start warming up to them and then they'll start bitching that they shouldn't have cancelled their P.O. and they're stuck with the reg, blah blah.

Did the guy totally not insert the statue on the keys of the base?

Otherwise, looks cool. And of course it seems small next to beasts like Skaar and Hulk.

Surprisingly I have received mine today. I think they send item from China directly to Australia now.

It's Awesome piece with great details....The detail on the top of his head is still there. Black part on the chest is not too distracting as you won't see it very clearly from the front or top.

And There is no seams on the shoulder but his eyelids are blue but EX head is perfect.

Was having hard time to insert right leg to the peg.
Put the left hand sword to front and it's sliding and fall to the ground but steel sword was very strong. I saw picture again from Sideshow and realize sword facing back.

It's weird that they would paint the EX head correctly around the eyes. Hopefully they're all like that since I'm planning on displaying them all with the EX.
