Hello guys I would like to inform everyone that I have just purchased a Sideshow original Endoskull and I love it! Can I have opinions? Thanks so much! I paid 500$ for the skull, I think it was great considering it's an old one with great teeth and nicely lit up eyes. Did I get a good deal?

Re: Sideshow Terminator 2 Combat Edition!

I'll probably be buying one of these any day now. You saved $80 off retail, so that's good. $580 is too much IMO, but that's what they're selling for. The battle damaged one, like yours, is one that can be released from now until the end of time. The clean/chrome is probably worth more, and was a numbered run, but who cares. All that matters is if you like it.

Just letting you know Pilky, the brand new Sideshow Terminator skulls are horrible, take your time and find one open already so you can see what it looks like. I purchased a brand new one last month and it had horrible teeth. Also the eyes were way too bright, and they aren't real chrome. This one is one of the first production runs back in '07.

I read about and saw pictures of the bad teeth somewhere. I'll keep looking. Thanks

I got my combat skull from a member here for around $500. I spent two days cleaning it and it looks fantastic. Love it.

Wasnt hard. Non acetone nail polish remover does the trick. Came of easy for the most part but it is tedious work. You will need qtips for the small details. Doing the name plate you have to take it slow and be careful to not smudge the T2 symbol since its just black paint. Or you can just leave it as is if you dont wanna risk it. Well worth in the end. Do not rub any remover on the eyes. Why does the re release suck? Isnt it the same?

The clean version looks good, but I just love everything battle damaged.
From what I've seen some of the new ones have the teeth all messed up.

Bump an old thread, but could anybody point out things to look out for if I'm getting this used? Any common QC issues?

Look for good teeth, no cracks in the resin or chrome paint, look in the battery compartment to see if there could be oxidizing there, look for crooked eyes.

I got the older version. There's crooked eyes on it but everything else is fine and the teeth are good.
