So, I have been watching all the issues showing up from people here and Facebook.
I did have one issue with the exclusive sculpt that I already dealt with.(some spots that had been touched up poorly)
I decided to really go back and have a close look. I used some brighter lights and went carefully over everything.
I surprisingly found quite a few things.

1-On his left forearm from the elbow to the wrist they missed the black paint line on his raised piping.
2-Some discolored paint on his right thigh. Lighter color spots on the blue.
3-On his inner right thigh there is a small triangle slice missing. Looks like maybe the tunic should have covered it. Not sure.
4-A couple of places that have spots that had been left over from when they poured the cast. Should have been removed before painting.
5-A lot of spots that the black border lines have been painted very poorly. Who ever painted them on my statue, did a crap job.

Any 1 of these things by themselves I probably would have just left it. Maybe not the missing paint on the forearm. But all of it just added up to be too much for me to leave alone. I would recommend to everyone to have a closer look. Seems to me, Sideshow is taking notice of the quality and are delaying shipping the rest to take care of the QC. Which, if it's true, is very good of them.

I am just waiting to hear back from them now.

Seems to be the case. Not 100%, but people have been getting emails now that it has been delayed a couple months.

I've seen a lot of Good/Ok Thanos, but I've seen a lot of bad ones as well on FB.

Yeah, the numbers of starting to even out it seems, but then again, I think it's always a case of 'the bad outweighing the good.' More people will complain about what isn't right than what is.

I'm not saying the QC as a whole was good or bad, but just making an observation about how us collectors are. :lol

But I could argue that they have the right to be on a piece with a cost like this.

Yup I completely agree. For the price tag I can certainly see collectors brining out their magnifying glasses for this one

With all the concerns going around I did a spot check on mine. I have one spot on his arm where it looks like a finger smudge but it's subtle unless you are looking for it (could have been me when I initially picked up the body and it's just my natural oil that cause it). I saw two or 2 little scratches on the back golden shoulder armor and one minor spot on one of the gold spin armor. Couple of very minor white like pixel size dots here and there like the paint didn't touch but it's only if i'm looking to nit pick at it myself. Overall I give mine a 98% out of 100 for QC. I dont think i'm going to make a big deal in this case. One thing I wish sideshow would do is give us the colors that are used so if I wanted to do a touch up I had some reference instead of going in blind trying to guess the best mixes etc.

Anyway sorry for those who have major issues and i'm glad they are holding off on shipping out to ensure QC(assuming).

I actually try my best to avoid premium format figures from SS , because ,well , the quality is sub par in my experience . I’m waiting on my Thanos but I’m dreading receiving it because I can already tell it will have flaws
