About to make my last payment on this guy hopefully he'll be shipping soon and I can put him next to my other Pennywise and see how they get along. LOL. I don't know what I'm going to do once I get all my pre-orders in I'm pretty much out of room after that unless I get really creative LOL but even still I only have so much room and money but I'm not going to get into that right now.

This looks amazing! Sideshow really stepped up their game for the last year or so. As a Tim Curry fan, I am ashamed to say that I have never seen this original series but I need to go back and watch ASAP. I try to collect for nostalgia, but I don't really have any connection with this.... yet...

Bill Skarsgård's Pennywise was a disappointment having grown up with Tim Curry's portrayal.

I found Curry to be creepier and more disturbing.

I hate clowns so I don't know why I'm simultaneously repulsed by and drawn to them in 1/6. But only certain clowns: Romero's Joker, Curry's Pennywise, and Art the Clown from Terrifier (though he's become too sickening for his own good).

Curry and Romero are the two that hold the most nostalgia, if that's even the right word for memories that terrified me as a child - the burned in memory of seeing Romero's Joker for the first time at a very young age, and being traumatised sitting on the floor in the front row of a clown show on a school trip. :panic:
