Obviously I'm in. I just didnt know anyone who was able to organise anything like that.
I love the idea of some kind of map on the back with everyones names and Wetaholics Anonymous on the front with the Weta insect.
Glad to see there are as many like minded people out there.
I hope we can make this happen. I reckon you'd get comments from all over.

Whilst I'm throwing ideas out there. How about a fan based online SSW collectable website. It could be a way preserve some of the info that comes up through these discussions. As this site grows, threads get pushed back further and further.You could have pics of everyone's collections,news,and all the other things that would go along with a fan based site.

I hope it is alright to mention this sort of thing on this board. I'm not trying to step on anyones toes. I just love this board so much and would love to see it taken a step further. Also I'm not sure if someone has already made a site like this. If they have then my sorry. Give me a link and I'll be there.

Regarding a website with pics of everyone's collection - I proposed putting together a gallery here that would have links and/or pictures taken by fans but I didn't get much response. I'd be happy to set up this gallery, but if someone wants to start a website to do it, that's fine by me too.

I would love to send in some pics for a Wetaholics anonymous club gallery page, or whatever. It wont be set up for another month so til i get mved into the new house.

In the meantime. Cafepress sells shirts aline with custom made graphics that someone here can make. Dstephan can set it up, and make it so that the money earned off the shirts and even other products can go to the upkeep of the website and message board.

I would volunteer to help out and run a site, but my time is extremely limited, and my website experience is limited to Geocities pages. which is nice if your HTML illiterate like me.

but i have sold shirts, mugs, clocks, mosepades, and whatever else through cafepress and would reccomend them.

Uh, I'm not looking to get into retail . If someone wants to set up the cafepress and donate a portion of the profits to this forum, I have no problem with that I'll be looking for donations when renewal time comes, this place is getting expensive!
