Honestly, I've seen lots of signs that concern me when it comes to Sideshow's dedication to the INDY licenses and how aggressive they will handly the lines:

1) The fact that they had NOTHING ready around the time of the release of the first Indy film in almost 20 years (the only of the major licensees that this was the case)

2) The choice of Exclusive in the INDY PF

3) Absolutely no INDY exclusive item of any kind at SDCC

4) Not one additional 12" INDY announcement for over 5 months.

5) Delay in the production of the one and only INDY 12" product so far.

I gotta tell ya, I'm worried. I think we might all have gotten excited a bit prematurely thinking they would tackle this with the same gusto they did SW.

Yup. They should have had figures already shipping when the movie came out and pre-orders for the next round. There was no wait to test the waters, Indy was going to sell stuff period.

Look at HT and their The Dark Knight figures which may ship next month.

Agreed... The timing wasn't the best-- but here's hoping that we get two or three announcements at SDCC that give this line legs once more.

Hell, even though most of Medicom's 12" INDY figures are "meh" at best they're shipping 2 months before SSC's and were announced months after.

No way to sugarcoat it. As it stands right now, they have punted.

I hate to say this, but, couldn't the same thing that happened to McToys happen to Sideshow?
Right when they were the best toy figure, getting way too many licenses caused them to neglect their customer service, quality and selection.
I know Sideshow has great ideas, but maybe it's getting a little out of hand?...
I don't know...just pondering... :monkey3

I actually agree!!! There too much too fast... thus why almost everything this year has been pushed back/delayed... not to mention the quality control (SIM, subject 805, Aragon PF)

I also don't think SS will anounce that many NEW items at SDCC. They have released/surprised and announced pretty much everything thats going to be displayed.

Yeppers. One of many reasons I am running straight to the Sideshow booth on Preview Night.

(Wearing a disguise, of course :lol )

I want Sideshow to get all licenses!!!!!! They should take over all the collectibles there is!!!!!:D

I wonder what that skull is made of, and if the skull is permanently attached to the base...

I've got the BR PO with amazon. Gonna get the gift set as soon as BB fixes the website so I can. Says the ship date is Nov of 2020. :lol Won't let me order it with my bank card.

tried preordering this one, but instead of best buy marketing it in north america, it would appear they may only be available in the usa, i have emailed best buy canada to see if it will be available through our canadain site.

they have done this before with other special offers, the serenity special edition dvd with comic book comes to mind. seems odd, it's like we're a forgotten market up here sometimes. i mean, it's not like what people in the usa like, we up here in canada dislike. if it sells down south, it will sell up here.
